Oral Appliance Center is committed to making our educational content accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that access to reliable health information is a fundamental right, and we design our website with accessibility as a core principle rather than an afterthought.

We continually work to improve the accessibility of our website and welcome feedback from users. If you encounter any barriers to accessing our content, please let us know so we can address them.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

While we work toward full conformance, we acknowledge that some areas of our website may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. We are actively working to identify and address these gaps.

• Sufficient color contrast — text and background colors meet WCAG contrast ratio requirements.
• Descriptive link text — links use descriptive text rather than generic phrases like "click here."
• Accessible accordions — FAQ sections use native HTML details/summary elements that work with assistive technologies.
• Alt text — images include alternative text descriptions where appropriate.
• Resizable text — content remains readable when browser zoom or text scaling is used.
• No automatic movement — content does not auto-play or move in ways that could trigger vestibular disorders.

Our homepage features a custom cursor as part of its cinematic design experience. We recognize that custom cursors can pose accessibility challenges. The custom cursor is hidden on mobile and touch devices, and the underlying native cursor and interactions remain functional. Users who prefer the native cursor can override it through their operating system or browser accessibility settings.

All interactive elements on the homepage — including buttons and links — remain fully operable with keyboard navigation and standard input methods, regardless of the custom cursor.

Despite our best efforts, some content may have accessibility limitations:

• Some older content may not fully conform to current accessibility standards. We are reviewing and updating content on an ongoing basis.
• Third-party content or embeds, if any, may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.
• The cinematic scroll-based animations on our homepage may be challenging for some users with motion sensitivity. The educational content on our authority pages uses simpler, more standard page layouts.
